That's why we offer three appointment options designed to meet your needs: a standard consultation to assess your case and discuss treatment options, an urgent care appointment to address acute crises or debilitating situations of intense pain requiring a rapid response, and a Fast Track program for patients who need to consolidate their consultations, tests, and treatment into a single 1- to 3-day trip, whether because they are traveling from outside the Alicante province or because they have very tight schedules.
For consultations in Traumatology, Chronic Pain and other specialties
This is the standard consultation option for most of our patients. It is suitable for people with musculoskeletal conditions or pain that do not require immediate attention, as well as for check-ups and consultations in any of the clinic's other specialties.
How does this appointment work?
This is a scheduled in-person consultation at our clinic. The specialist will see you personally to understand your case, perform a complete physical examination, and review any medical tests or reports you may have.
When should you choose it?
Select this option if you need a medical assessment for a musculoskeletal condition or chronic pain that does not require immediate attention, if you are coming for a check-up, are looking for a second medical opinion, or wish to make an appointment with any of the clinic's specialties.
What are you going to receive?
You will receive an accurate medical diagnosis after a thorough evaluation and a clear proposal outlining the best treatment options. Furthermore, we will schedule an appointment for you as soon as possible, subject to our medical team's availability.
For patients with acute crises or severe pain flare-ups
Indicated if you suffer an acute pain crisis with a sudden onset, a sudden worsening of your usual condition, or an episode of very limiting intense pain that requires rapid medical assessment to relieve symptoms and stabilize the situation.
How does this appointment work?
It's a fast-track service with reserved slots in the medical team's schedule to address very intense pain. For your complete peace of mind, our team will ask you a few brief questions before confirming your appointment. This screening process ensures that it's truly a pain emergency that we can resolve at the clinic and rules out any warning signs that would require you to go to a hospital immediately due to a life-threatening situation.
When should you choose it?
You should select it if you suffer from intense, debilitating pain that has appeared suddenly, such as an acute lumbar blockage (disabling acute lumbago), sciatica or radiculalgia with severe pain, acute cervicalgia or limiting cervicobrachialgia, a significant flare-up of previously known chronic pain, or a very intense and limiting headache or migraine attack.
This modality also includes selected cranial neuropathic pain, such as occipital, trigeminal or supraorbital neuralgia, as well as other complex craniofacial pain conditions, orofacial or temporomandibular pain, eye pain in selected cases after prior assessment, and acute joint or musculoskeletal pain of a non-traumatic nature.
You should not choose this option in case of serious traffic accidents, suspected fracture, major trauma, loss of strength in the legs, difficulty breathing or other serious symptoms, as these situations require attention in a hospital emergency department.
What are you going to receive?
You will receive an urgent medical assessment focused entirely on alleviating and stopping the pain crisis you are experiencing today. Care will be provided within 24 hours of requesting an appointment, provided it is a business day. Furthermore, if the specialist deems it necessary for your diagnosis and there is availability at the center, the system allows for advanced imaging tests (such as an MRI or ultrasound) or the application of pain management techniques with priority scheduling.
Diagnosis and treatment of chronic pain in a single trip to Alicante
Fast Track is especially suitable for patients who live outside the province of Alicante and require specialized medical assessment for their musculoskeletal pain or condition, consolidating diagnosis and treatment into a single 1- to 3-day trip. It can also be an option if you are seeking a second medical opinion or wish to explore alternatives before surgery.
How does this appointment work?
The process begins online. After reviewing the medical documentation you send us, we select the specialist from our team best suited to your specific case. You will have a video consultation with them and receive your complete medical report, a personalized treatment plan, and an estimated cost, all within the first 48 hours. From there, you can book your in-person appointment for intensive treatment at our clinic in Alicante, which will take between 1 and 3 days, depending on your condition.
When should you choose it?
You should select this option if you suffer from chronic pain or a musculoskeletal condition and live outside Alicante or are traveling from abroad, if you are looking for a second medical opinion before deciding on surgery, or if you are an athlete, professional, or a very busy person with a demanding schedule who needs to optimize their time and avoid delaying their recovery with appointments spaced out over the weeks.
What are you going to receive?
You will receive an initial telemedicine consultation and a medical report and diagnosis within 48 hours, along with your specific treatment plan and an estimated cost for the recommended course of treatment. In addition, you will receive a complete logistical plan to schedule your tests (MRI, CT scan, ultrasound) and treatments at our Alicante clinic in a single 1- to 3-day trip.
