HIFU – Neurolyser XR, offered exclusively by KLINIK PM, is an innovative technique designed to treat chronic axial lower back pain caused by arthritis and facet osteoarthritis, without surgery, without needles and without hospital admission.
The Neurolyser XR procedure uses high-intensity ultrasound waves, focused with extreme precision on the medial branch nerves that transmit pain from the facet joints.
These waves are applied from outside the body, passing through the patient's soft tissue without damaging it, and produce a controlled thermal ablation that inactivates the nerve and blocks pain transmission. Unlike other similar techniques, HIFU achieves results with minimal radiation.
