Advanced treatments to restore functionality to your hands
Traumatologist specializing in hand care in Alicante
KLINIK PM
The hand is one of the most complex and delicate structures in the human body. It is involved in almost every action we perform every day: working, writing, eating, driving, and communicating. Therefore, when an injury or any functional impairment occurs, its impact can be profound and seriously limit our autonomy, our profession, and even our way of relating to each other. At KLINIK PM, we understand this reality and therefore approach each case with the sensitivity, technical detail, and medical excellence that this very special region deserves.
With this commitment, and under the direction of Dr. Javier Ferreira, we have created a unique unit in Europe: the Comprehensive Hand and High-Precision Sonosurgery UnitA highly specialized space, designed to offer a definitive, minimally invasive, and fully personalized solution to injuries, functional pathologies, and painful problems affecting the hand, wrist, elbow, and other extremities.

KLINIK PM: where precision, innovation and functionality meet
The Hand and Sonosurgery Unit at KLINIK PM, directed by Dr. Javier Ferreira, traumatologist specializing in hand With over 20 years of experience and extensive experience in hand and wrist surgery, as well as in the use of musculoskeletal ultrasound applied to high-precision diagnosis and treatment, he combines the most advanced strategies in tissue regeneration, the best of ultra-minimally invasive microsurgery and sonosurgery, a high-precision ultrasound-guided technique, together with a functional rehabilitation approach aimed at restoring maximum performance.
This approach is supported by the work of our clinical research institute, INKLIDED, and by an internationally recognized medical team. Thanks to this combination of innovation, expertise, and precision, the procedures are performed on an outpatient basis, leave no visible scars, minimize the risk of complications, and allow for a much faster recovery, with an early return to work and sports.
Advanced and high-precision diagnostics.
Every solution begins with a rigorous diagnosis. In our Unit, we apply a 360-degree approach that combines the experience of a specialized team with cutting-edge technology: high-resolution musculoskeletal ultrasound, anatomical image navigation, functional grip studies, sequential MRI, neuromotor testing, and electromyography. This entire process allows us to thoroughly understand the injury and its impact, allowing us to design a fully personalized protocol.
Sonosurgery: ultra-minimally invasive ultrasound-guided surgery.
We are one of the few centers in Europe specialized in musculoskeletal sonosurgery, an ultra-minimally invasive technique that uses real-time ultrasound to treat injuries with exceptional precision. It allows surgery without general anesthesia, hospitalization, and minimal incisions, addressing nerve entrapments, resistant tendinopathies, or fibrosis with almost immediate recovery.
Millimeter precision, without surgery or scars.
Ultrasound-guided musculoskeletal sonosurgery allows us to treat complex injuries with extraordinary precision and without resorting to conventional surgery. It is an ultra-minimally invasive, outpatient technique without general anesthesia, avoiding the operating room in most cases. In our Hand and Sonosurgery Unit, we apply this cutting-edge approach with excellent clinical results.
